The Bell Park splash pad in Greenwood, AR is a popular, family-friendly water feature designed for younger kids and casual summer play. It typically includes ground-level spray elements — like fountains, jets, and interactive water features — rather than a traditional pool, making it safer and easier for all ages to use. It’s located within Bell Park near other amenities (like playgrounds and open space), so families can make a full outing of it.
The splash pad is seasonal, usually open during the warmer months, and operates as a free or low-cost recreational option, giving residents a convenient way to cool off without needing a staffed aquatic facility. Overall, it’s a low-maintenance, high-use amenity that supports community gathering, summer programming (like camps and events), and accessible play for kids.

Eagle Scout Dax Lewis managed the construction and building of a switch back nature trail connection, that begins just behind the Jewel Bell #1 Pavilion.
This nature trail leads down a scenic path, beside rock formations and a small cave areas, before reaching the City Trail. Turning right on the trail leads back to the downtown area and left continues down the trail returning to the Basketball and Pickleball courts in Bell Park.
From this location, by turning left a City sidewalk leads out of the Park to N. Main Street, then taking a right on the Main Street sidewalk will lead back to the downtown area, at Memorial Square.
