(4) Part Time/Seasonal Street Position

The City of Greenwood has four openings for Part Time/Seasonal Positions in the Street Dept. 

Responsiblities would include maintaining city properties by mowing, weedeating, trash removal and the ability to work in all-weather conditions. 

Rate of pay $11.00/per hour

Full Time Street Dept. Laborer/Maintenance

The City of Greenwood has an open position for Laborer/Maintenace in the Street Dept. 

Responsibilities would include mowing, weedeating and removal of trash debris from city properties and the ability to work in all-weather conditions.

Full Time Water/Wastewater Administrative Assistant

The City of Greenwood has an opening for a Full Time Water/Wastewater Administrative Assistant position. 

Responsibilities would include creating purchase orders for invoices, filing, scheduling meetings, handling calls to and from the public and performing general office functions of the department as needed. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred. 

Applicants must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.

Full Time Water Distribution Maintenance

The City of Greenwood has an opening for a Full Time Maintenance position in the Water Distribution Department. 

Responsibilities would include the ability to lift at least 25 pounds of equipment, occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds of equipment and work in all-weather conditions. 

Applicants must have a High School DIploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license. 

Excellent benefit package included and pay will be determind by experience.

The City of Greenwood has openings for Paid On-Call Firefighters in our Fire Dept. 

Applications are available at Fire Station #1 located at 70 Bell Road Greenwood, Arkansas. New applicants must reside within 1 mile planning jurisdiction of the City of Greenwood.
